Book Trolley Volunteer

Do you have a few hours a week to visit the wards at Yeovil Hospital with our book trolley?

Our Book Trolley Volunteer will visit set wards with the trolley, offering a book to patients. There is no cost to the patient, however if they'd like to make a donation to the hospital charity they can do so via the collection tin on the trolley.

The idea is to help break up the feeling of boredom, isolation and loneliness whilst in hospital. You will not need to collect the book back after the patient has been given the book.
